Am I crazy or did I just read in the paper that a library retiree and current volunteer with 50 years experience, who was beloved by hundreds of kids who had since grown up to be adults with a love of reading, is having her job “reading to children” taken away to give to library employees. This was explained in a Camera quote “This will provide opportunities for us to grow our staff…”.
Is this the same Boulder Public Library who has REDUCED HOURS OF BRANCHES DUE TO BUDGET CONSIDERATIONS? The library needs some serious oversight.
