This year many retail workers will be unable to enjoy a Thanksgiving holiday because they must work so that the stores will be able to open as early as midnight on Friday to rush the Christmas selling season. If you really wish to protest corporate greed and the exploitation of these workers, do not do Black Friday shopping and encourage your friends not to do that shopping either.
