Howard Johnson: Sheri Marsella for mayor of Louisville

Dear Editor,

Have you seen Sheri Marsella?  She’s the candidate for mayor of Louisville who has been walking all over town, knocking on doors, introducing herself to her constituents.  Sheri believes in her fellow citizens and enjoys listening to their opinions and talking to them about the future of Louisville.  Most of all, she loves to get to know the people of Louisville, so she can be the best possible representative she can be.

Sheri Marsella has served on the Louisville City Council for nine years and for four years she has served as Mayor Pro Tem.  Her experience includes service on the Library Board, Louisville Housing Authority, Boulder County Consortium of Cities, Louisville Finance Committee, and Louisville Street Faire just to name a few.

As an active member of the Louisville City Council, Sheri has developed a sense of balance that promotes the economic development of the city while maintaining the historic flavor of our town.  Her efforts have moved forward the downtown revitalization and Conoco Phillips projects while also supporting the history museum, the historic preservation ordinance, and senior services.  Sheri is keenly aware of the need to sustain our economic vitality and preserve our heritage, but most of all she understands how to do both to benefit Louisville.

Sheri’s experience and dedication to the City of Louisville exemplifies her commitment to making Louisville a vibrant community that adapts to the natural cycles facing every city in Colorado.  Her ability and desire to invest seemingly limitless amounts of time and enthusiasm in her work is reflected in her simple “walking” campaign for mayor.  Sheri wants to get to know you and your ideas.  Be sure to look for her as she canvases the streets of Louisville and please visit www.marsellaformayor.com.
