Deborah van den Honert: Anwar al-Awlaki denied due process of law

I was horrified and sickened to learn that our government had killed Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen without affording him his right, as a US citizen, to due process of law.  I regard it as an illegal execution, and I have to wonder what other illegal executions the Executive Branch will feel justified in committing.  When the Executive Branch usurps the role of our court system in determining guilt, it puts our country in very, very bad company; we are one step closer to autocracy.
