Please ! Help save the Eldorado Market ! and Save the Views !
The Eldorado Market (and gas) is perhaps the most
Visual, Iconic, Unique and Culturally Insignificant business in Southwest Boulder County.
The new owners want to tear down everything, dig out the rear of the site, and build a new building twice as large, twice as wide, with a liquor store and a huge canopy for new pumps.
The building appears to be an ‘anywhere USA’ generic building with no reflection of the historic character of the area.
If allowed their plan will radically alter and destroy the character and the views of the site!
The business could well be expanded and upgraded without destroying so much and for less cost!
DO YOU CARE?
Do you care that others care?
Some people care a great deal about keeping our history, character, and wonderful views!!
All across our County and around the world valuable pieces of Culture are being destroyed because people don’t know their value or don’t care about what others value! Too many feel their own personal desires should supersede the desires and needs of others.
With many current issues we face the legal and moral rights to keep and value versus the rights to take and destroy
