I have been paddling boulder creek this past week in my white water canoe. I would not think of doing so without a PFD and helmet. Tubers should be a little more informed of the risks involved concerning moving water. I was somewhat surprised how early the creek was opened to tubers since I was hesitant to tackle it in my boat. Maybe it was the complaints from the tube renters in the camera article I saw earlier this month. Hopefully the bleeding forehead and bruised bottoms I witnessed will be the extent of the injuries.
