$49 million capital improvemnts are planned for Boulder – but not one word – or one penny for our libraries.
Check it out: Camera, 7/16. Page 6A lists recommended projects - Yes for roads, bridges, parks improvements, but “$2.5 for ” Downtown commercial district enhancements” ! ” $2.2 million for new multi-use path connections”?….
Apparently our libraries are expected to “carry on” and manage the burgeoning circulation services to an ever expanding population, plus, providing daycare space for the homeless and unemployed.
Note to Council: a book drop in North Boulder is not a library.
