The US cannot veto a General Assembly Resolution where all UN members have one vote. Mr. Friedman was writing about the Palestinian Plan to go to the UN in September and ask for status as an independent state and membership in the UN.
As long as people play these games, there will be no equitable, meaningful solution to the Israel-Palestine issue.
