The focus in Colorado for our Democrat Governor now is getting everyone to support taking care of those who have opted to gift the alcohol industry with income. By “taking care of”, I am referring to hospital care, lawyer intervention, psychiatric specialists (on alcohol abuse), and freedom from being held responsible for such things as spousal abuse, accidents, and child neglect.
Fine dining (with copious alcoholic beverages with snob appeal) is where you can overhear the politics touching the hearts of elite Coloradans who give a hearty nod to drinking. Recently, we have heard that doctors – after a night of drinking – are much more liable to make mistakes. And the focus on debunking this national crisis is well on the way. First, if history has any say, we know that this study will be rebuked and those involved in the study will be harassed and humiliated publicly. Making wealthy doctors who drink look like nincompoops is not acceptable in the elite political community. After all, there is SO MUCH MONEY involved in saucing up doctors and their elite comrades!! Have you priced some of the fine liqueurs lately? That is what I’m talking about.
Mom and Pop liquor stores, of course, have been herded together to fuss about little stuff that will hurt their business (thus, overshadowing the REAL trouble that the alcohol industry is beginning to face). It began with the UN declaration that alcohol is even worse than crack and is destroying humans and human relations throughout the world. Is that a problem for the alcohol industry in Colorado? Let’s put it this way: they are in damage control mode.
Like the drug industry, alcoholists retain their advocates because the social and physical aspects are habit-forming. Attending bars, drinking the same thing all the time, shooting up at a party every weekend, you know. There are the jokes only a drunk can love, and jokes only a crackhead can love, and the focus is on getting and keeping such jokes out there to further social interaction on the industry behalf. The behalf of monetary income for their industries.
The fact that effects of drinking are critically destructive at the hands of doctors in the operating room (even when no alcohol can be detected in their bloodstream) is a HUGE statement against drinking. Coming just before the Royal Wedding, of course, will allow the alcohol industry to claim that they are not involved in manipulating the media when it comes to negative news. After all, they allowed it to happen. But the blab will stop (it is not a coincidence, believe me) because the wedding talk will overshadow it. Will we see doctors drinking at the wedding and talking about how they are going to do operations? Probably not that simple, but there will be people heavily involved in critical human care who will be raising the bottle in praise to alcoholism. What other elites will we see drinking, telling drunk jokes, and making drinking look good? Will the Couple even notice what’s happening? It’s not bombs, but it is just as deadly. Maybe they will think about it.
