What Am I Missing?
A few mountain biking friends and I (all long time Boulder mountain bikers) were talking about what we think is a simple solution to the West TSA (and other) trail conflicts. Maybe this has been discussed, but I’ve missed it due to the other stories of the day, you know, the other things Boulder readers care about such as Libya and Japan. Why can’t we build parallel trails? One trail for hikers and horses and one for bikes? The extra impact on the environment would be extremely minimal. The trail conflict would reduce to almost zero. I’m sure Boulder’s mountain biking community could rally around this and help build the trails. Is this too simple to consider, or am I missing something?
