These organizations benefit individuals and families in need and allows for “all boats to rise with the tide”, not just a few, or the privileged.
Quite frankly, the present economic environment in the Unities States is not conducive to continued investment in human services programs for the long term.
Ballot 1 A will provide a stop gap payment period while the federal and state governments contend with the worst fiscal crisis in over 70 years.
Ballot 1 A will allow a small portion of property tax revenues to benefit those families and the organizations that provide for those families, to continue to receive and provide funding of supportive services, during what is considered extremely challenging times.
