Terrorists are not Muslims. Terrorists are murderous fanatics in any religion who consider human lives, even their own, to be of little value. They believe they are justified in forcing their beliefs on others by any means however cruel and inhuman. They believe in death and destruction, not life and creativity. They are barely human; the fact that human beings can do to others the things that terrorists do brings shame to all normal people, including Muslims.
Let us not confuse terrorists with Muslims. Terrorists are not normal people; Muslims are. Terrorists don’t know know what loving and forgiving and doing good for others are; Muslims do. We cannot live with terrorists or allow them to live in our midst, but there is absolutely nothing to prevent us from doing those same things with Muslims. It is insanity, not religion, that threatens and sometimes harms us.
I hope we can all grow up and learn the difference.
