Colorados’s primary election campaign mercifully will end soon. Most of
the numerous endorsements that have appeared in the Camera are
vapid, devoid of content, and sometimes as childish as the inane political
ads polluting our publicly owned airways and cable channels. If possible,
these ads appear more seamy and squalid than ever.
Since Bob Kinsey, running on the Green Party ticket for the U.S. senate
seat currently held by political appointee Michael Bennet, already is on
the November ballot, here is an endorsement for a candidate head and
shoulders above his political opponents.
Kinsey is unequivocal about defunding America’s wars of imperial
conquest, its use of military aggression to secure foreign natural
resources and the means to bring them to market, and its violence-ridden
military occupation of regions to which it has no legal claim whatsoever.
This in itself is sufficient reason to vote for him.
He also is a firm supporter of a single payer national health plan, a
plan recently subverted by Obama’s Democratic administration.
There are numerous other reasons to cast a vote in his favor. Visit his
