Dear Editor,
On June 1, Boulder County citizens will have a terrific opportunity to voice their support for environmental and wilderness
protection to their congressman, Rep. Jared Polis.
After hearing much from the mountain towns about the Hidden Gems Wilderness Proposal to protect public lands, Rep. Polis has
scheduled a meeting in Boulder to hear how his Front Range constituents feel about land conservation. Please join me and
other wilderness supporters on June 1 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Boulder Public Library’s Canyon Theater. Those who arrive
early can enjoy refreshments and meet the proposal’s organizers.
Polls show that the public massively supports wilderness in general and this proposal in particular, but it remains vital
that supportive citizens actually attend this meeting. The Hidden Gems Wilderness Proposal is an important effort that has
been underway for many years. It aims to protect fragile backcountry areas from the pressure that is occurring as a result
of logging, mineral development and population growth.
The people working on this proposal have ironed out details and boundaries concerning fire, watershed and most user group
concerns. But some groups, especially motorized recreation, will come out in force to oppose these important protections.
Citizens who support wilderness protection of our public lands need to come out and voice their opinions. We can’t let a
few minority groups from the extractive industries and motorized user groups dictate bad policy for our public lands.
People who need more info or a ride should feel free to email me at jayheeter@cmc.org.
Sincerely,
Jay Heeter

This is finding a bit far more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has much more flair, and some cool attributes like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, permitting you to navigate around exploring by related artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you discover others with shared tastes and becoming buddies with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your buddies are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy is going to be relieved to know it is possible to avoid the public from seeing your personal listening habits in case you so select.
gunsandnoses – You're cmnoemting to a guy who is neither a Libertarian or involved. Hasn't posted anything in 8 months. Never a comment about local or state politics in all that time. He's not listening, which is why you can't debate him. The DC should remove this blogger and let an active Libertarian take his place.

I do love the manner in which you have framed this concern and it does indeed offer us a lot of fodder for thought. However, coming from just what I have personally seen, I really wish when the actual commentary pile on that men and women remain on issue and don’t start upon a tirade of the news du jour. YetUGG Men Boots, thank you for this excellent point and whilst I do not agree with this in totality, I regard your point of view.
