Many in Congress now want to hold Health Care Reform hostage to the Financial Reform Bill.  We need both desperately.

Financial Reform with the protections for consumers is vital to creating confidence in the system.  From banks to stocks, I as a consumer look dubiously upon both, now.  Elizabeth Warren is correct in asserting that protecting consumers is primary if we are to ever trust the system again.

Health Care reform will relieve the heavy burden families carry trying to protect their loved one.  The United States of America is in failing health protecting it’s people.  Fixing health care is not only fiscally responsible for the economic future of our country, it is second to none in returning the vigor to our citizens.  It is irresponsible of Congress not to move forward a health care plan that is so needed by all Americans.

Please do the right thing.  It’s what is expected of all Americans, you can do no less.  Pass Health Care Reform AND the Financial Reform Bill.
