I am 50 years old, relatively healthy. I lost my job and took a job as a contractor. Very happy to be employed but the health-care benefits are extremely expensive. I have a high deductible and I worry about how I will pay for any serious illness. A national health-care option is critical for my future. The politicians have insurance so they do not see this as an urgent issue, they just see it as a vehicle for re-election. Annoying beyond words!
