If your answer is no one, then you have not been paying attention. Those who support the status quo do not have the best interests of the American people at heart. The rate of increase in the cost of providing health care to Americans is not sustainable. Doing nothing is not an option.
My answer to the question: The insurance industry benefits. What about some benefit for the American people. After all, who does congress serve?
As a self-employed American, I lost my health insurance this month because I can no longer afford the premium of $630 per month (my plan had a $5,000 deductible). Maybe you just want to wish me “good luck”. Thanks.
