Last week significant facts turned up on the hacked climate research on the CRU web site. The Camera ran one small article on it. The current Camera editors have given zero coverage according to a simple search on its own web. Just the discussion on how persons interfered in the FOIA process should have lit off the fuses by the press. But the press has its minds made up and does not intend to let facts interfere with their opinion. I miss Clint Talbott’s days, for he would have gone off like a rocket over this blockage of free speech and the search for the truth, even though it was him who consistently declared that “the science is settled” about global warming (which of course is ridiculous on its face, as the science takes forever to become “settled” about almost any theory, much less a whole network of theories.)
So what is going on here? It sure smells like a coverup, particularly with the Copenhagen meetings coming upon us. So where do we go for better coverage? I am not going to name places for fear this letter will be censured due to promotion of certain groups. However, there are many scientists, including climate researchers (as opposed to the computer programmers that dominate the scene) that have spoken out against at least the processes employed by the IPCC and its components, not to mention their results.
No, the science is not settled.
