Dear Friends,
In the coming election it’s vitally important to support County Ballot Issue 1A. I hope that voters will approve 1A so that Boulder County can continue to purchase open space. Population growth is continuing in Boulder County with no end in sight and this single fact makes it imperative that we continue the County’s admirable program of acquisition of open space lands so that all future residents of the County can have as much open space per capita as we now enjoy. I think that Boulder County has done an outstanding job of acquiring and maintaining open space for the enjoyment of all of the people of the County. Voting “YES” on 1A will allow their good work to continue.
In the election for Boulder City Council I hope readers will join me in supporting Matt Applebaum, Macon Cowles, Tim Plass and Jyotsna Raj.
