District attorney Garnett says, medical marijuana dispensaries have become a distraction for his office, and he seeks “clarity”.
I humbly submit my suggestion. Allow the Colorado State Medical Board to deal with the issue. Does the DA’s office decide how pharmacies do business, is that a responsibility of the DA ? The Boulder County court system is not the place to debate the law, and seek clarity on Amendment 20. The people of Colorado passed a law. Now the Boulder DA wants to take on the people of the state, and question the rights granted to them by the state constitution ? Focus on the laws that you are clear on.
