Monday as I was coming down the Mt. Sanitas trail with my son and my sister-in-law I fell and sprained my ankle. It was immediately apparent that I could not bear weight on the injury and although we had only about a third of the way to go, the idea of getting to the car was a bit overwhelming. Enter the Mt. Sanitas angels who swooped me up and carried me down. They were Pete, Craig, and Ari and Stacey. Only Ari and Stacey knew each other prior to my mishap. The rest came together to help a fellow hiker in need. My gratitude for each person’s contribution is immense. Without their help my recovery would be greatly extended. Thank you for taking the time to help us out!
