To the person who backed into the right, front fender of my auto (1998 Infiniti I30, white), in the parking area behind the Chatauqua Theatre on Monday, June 29, between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., please contact me, if you feel so inclined. My insurance company will certainly cover it; however, I would prefer that your insurance company cover the cost, as I am currently a statistic of the recession and my deductible cost would be somewhat strapping at the time-being. You may go to http://www.davidwhitsel.com and select “Contact” from the menu, and submit your phone or email, or a note through the form.
Many years ago, when I did not have auto insurance, I did the same thing, but left a note on the windshield of the person’s car – they contacted me and I paid for their repairs out of my own pocket.
I’m a nice person, so don’t worry – it’s mostly an insurance thing.
Thanks for owning up to your responsibility and being a good neighbor.
